ChatGPT Blocked on OpenVPN Server hosted on Linode?
I have an OpenVPN server hosted on Linode that I connect to when connecting to public Wi-Fi or other untrusted Wi-Fi services. The server is out of the Atlanta data center for Linode.
For the most part, this works great; the only issue I have is I need help connecting to ChatGPT.
The following error occurs.
Access denied
Error code 1020
You do not have access to chat.openai.com.
The site owner may have set restrictions that prevent you from accessing the site.
The OpenVPN server was installed from Cloud Run. Perhaps something in the automated config. I could either build from the Linode marketplace or set one up manually. I'll go ahead and try that, but in the meantime, I welcome any feedback or thoughts, or ideas.
Thought Suggestions? Has anyone else run into this or had any thoughts on the issue?

I guess OpenAI is using Cloudflare to prevent from bot attacking (e.g., data scraping), I also encountered this error while trying access the chat.openai.com via proxy I configured in Linode, still looking for solution to resolve this.

Have you tried using omegle instead of ChatGPT? It might offer a solution while you troubleshoot the issue with accessing chatopen.ai.
