MQTT Blocked on Port 1883

Does Linode block port 1883 (MQTT) ?

Well .. I solved my own problem … No they don't block port 1883 but, when Mosquitto got an auto update it required an extra line in the config file:

listener 1883

I'm glad to see you were able to identify the issue that was affecting your service. I just wanted to make sure it was clear that we do not block ports outside of SMTP ports by default on new accounts. Those would be ports 25, 465, and 587. Even with those, we can remove the restrictions from either your specific Linode or account-wide. You'll need to open a ticket with Support for that.
