How long does it take for the IPv6 address to disappear after deleting Linode

After some tests I decided to delete the Linode and the domain, when I ping it now, it's still associated with the Linode IPv6. How long does it take to delete it?

If you're pinging the domain, it can take up to 48 hours for the domain name and the IP address to become disassociated. This depends on your location in the world and how often your local ISP does DNS updates.
