Lish, weblish reject my credentials
Trying to access my linode via the tools provided by Linode. My credentials are rejected. I noted these credentials when I set up the node, so I'm not relying on memory.
I can access my linode via SSH. However, I would like to have another means of connecting, in case of some issue.
I don't know what to do - whether there's a way to reset the password, or what.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're accessing the Linode via SSH with either the root
user or a limited user account you set up, you should also be able to connect to the instance using those same credentials via the Linode Shell (Lish). The usernames and passwords are stored on the instance itself and therefore connecting via SSH or Lish should work the same.
If you'd like to reset your root
user password, you can do so by following the instructions in this Reset the Root Password on your Linode guide.
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I understood that I should be able to use the same credentials; however, I am not able to do that.
I can sign in via SSH to my limited account (root can't sign in via SSH).
I can't sign in through the Linode dashboard. Neither my limited account nor my root account works.
I'm a bit reluctant to play around with logging in, lest I lock myself out completely. However, from what you have said, it seems I might not have a choice.
Anyway, I appreciate your response. Thank you.
