Overdue - NVME Block Storage for Fremont

Half a year overdue. Is this going to eventually happen or should I dampen my expectations?

Fremont is the final active data center awaiting upgrades to NVMe to the Block Storage. While there isn't currently an ETA on when the upgrade will take place, I can say that it is definitely on the roadmap.
In the meantime, I've added your feedback to our internal tracking. We'll be sure to reach out to you once NVMe is available in Fremont.

Will everyone who has block storage at Fremont (like me) be automatically upgraded to NVMe block storage?

The way it was done previously was by sending out tickets to existing Block Storage customers letting them know the upgrade to NVMe was available. There was a link in the ticket to start the upgrade immediately along with a date when the upgrade would happen automatically. This, of course, was all done at no additional cost.

I can't say with 100% certainty the Fremont upgrades will happen this way. However, I believe it's safe to assume the Support Team will be in communication in a similar way.
