How do I install Longview on Rocky 9 (RHEL9)?

Hi everyone,

I've been running Longview on my Linode Rocky 8 and it worked a charm.

Now that I've upgraded to Rocky 9, it appears there's no version in the repo.

Am I missing something?

Many thanks!

Hi there,

At this time, Linode does not offer Longview for Rocky Linux. Supported distributions include CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu.

Kind Regards,
Eric

Hey there! I'm also trying to install Longview in my Rocky Linux 9.

There is a post in this forum where a guy from the Linode staff gives instructions to install the Centos 8 package of Longview in an Alma Linux or Rocky Linux distro:
https://www.linode.com/community/questions/22133/how-do-i-install-longview-on-rocky-linux-or-almalinux

I could successfully install it in Rocky8. But when I try in Rocky9 I get this error:
Error: GPG check FAILED

These are the last lines before the error:
warning: Signature not supported. Hash algorithm SHA1 not available.
Problem opening package linode-longview-1.1-5.noarch.rpm
Problem opening package perl-IO-LockedFile-0.23-1.noarch.rpm
Problem opening package perl-Log-LogLite-0.82-1.noarch.rpm
The downloaded packages were saved in cache until the next successful transaction.
You can remove cached packages by executing 'yum clean packages'.
Error: GPG check FAILED

Any help will be much appreciated.
