Openvpn username doesn't exist

Hi there, I'm a newmemeber on Linode.
I just made debian with openvpn and as you know I need to set up my password with:

passwd openvpn

but I keep getting an error saying:
user openvpn doesn't exist.

I was following this youtube if you are interested, but can't find the solution here on the community or google.

I found the solution! It has been updated recently.
I'm putting it here in case somebody needs it.
