Are Marketplace apps production ready?
Hello everyone,
Maybe a silly question, but I would like to know your opinion on this topic. Are the Marketplace apps production ready upon the deploy?
I mean, apart from the basic guide lines, like securing ssh access, etc?
In my specific case I would like to use the Wazuh application in a production environment. I followed the steps of the 'Deploying Wazuh through the Linode Marketplace' guide and I'm wondering if I should have any specific concerns running this on production.

Hey J!
As you know, when you spin up a Wazuh Application, you have the option to create a limited user, disable root access, and add an SSH key. Since the app is deployed on an Ubuntu image, you will also have the ability to configure UFW as you would like.
In terms of the Linode infrastructure, you will have access to Cloud Firewalls and Advanced DDoS Protection.
Any additional features you are looking for will need to be installed once your server is up and running. Services like fail2ban or 3rd party solutions for security like Akamai or Cloudflare DDoS protection may be worth investigating.
