I need help managing my Minecraft server console

I have managed to access the Minecraft server console via the Weblish SSH remote connection before, but it will not let me do it anymore. I don't remember doing anything other than the command ./mcserver console but it always returns No such file or directory. Is there something else I am missing? Do I need to edit any files?

UPDATE: I found out that I needed to specify the exact place of the mcserver file. I ended up running /home/koen/mcserver console to access the server console, but it not returns
[ FAIL ] Do NOT run this script as root! Is there something I am missing?
