Upgrade Ubuntu 21.10
Currently running Ubuntu 21.10 and recently got errors
E: The repository 'http://mirrors.linode.com/ubuntu impish Release' no longer has a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
I see this version has reached EOL and I should probably be on a LTS such as 22.04 LTS
Is it possible to upgrade this version? I have two small websites on it (WordPress), I've done the migration once before but if I could upgrade the instance I have - that would be more convenient

Sure, you can upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04, but remember to take a backup of your server's state before the upgrade. Also, I would expect configuration changes and/or errors after the upgrade from one Ubuntu release to the next. Upgrading could seem more convenient, but a migration might actually be easier, you'll have to decide for yourself which path you want to take.
I found a guide that seems to describe the process fairly well, and provides some things to keep in mind for the upgrade. I haven't tried it myself, as I don't have or use Ubuntu, but based on what I know, it should provide you with all the information you need.
Good luck.
Ubuntu upgrades are not hard (providing that you're following all of Canonical's rules for such)…just kinda tedious. You have to pay attention.
Disconnect from all PPAs you might be using. This will prob cause some apps/services you may be using to break (otherwise, you wouldn't be using a PPA in the first place).
Do the upgrade from the console (lish)…trying to do it from an ssh session will just confuse you mid-stream and the instructions fall apart and you prob have to switch to the console anyway.
After the upgrade is done, carefully reconsider using the PPAs you were using before again…don't just reconnect to them blindly unless you have a really good reason. You may not need them. It's always better to go with distro-provided stuff.

I'm not using anything fancy - just a basic web server and nothing custom. Migrated from 18.x (I think) a little while bad - looking for the simplest solution really.
Just a couple of WordPress sites at the moment plus use it to test linux stuff from time to time.
