how do i clear connection timed out error on command prompt

i was trying to mint my token on solana and everything was going smoothly till i got to the command "cargo install spl-token-cli", i got a message like library and directory not found (cant remember the message exactly, i am new to this). while i was trying to slove the problem, i could not log in any more, i see this message - ssh: connect to host 45.79.70.91 port 22: Connection timed out. PLEASE can anyone help me. i have switched of my windows defender. done reboot on linode. please i need help
