Upgrading to yearly plan; changing back later
But my question is this: after the year is up, if I needed to switch back to monthly payments again, would I lose the disk space? And for safety's sake, how soon before the year was up would I need to specify whether I needed to switch back to monthly again to prevent being billed for another year? Currently it auto-deducts from my card, and that would obviously be a problem if the money wasn't there!
Thanks in advance.

After the year is up, if you decided to switch back to monthly, you would lose the additional disk space. The billing system is automatic, so you would need to notify us before your billing cycle is up. If the funds weren't available, you would receive an e-mail informing you that your payment is past due with a few days grace before your account is temporarily suspended.

@Ciaran:
How would the loss actually happen, out of curiosity? If you were using 100% of the space with images and 100% of those images were full, how would the space be cut down?
You'd need to free up space then resize the disk images, or move to paying for the extra disk space, or upgrade to a larger plan.
