if I clone a new server from an old one, what will happen?

Will I have a similar server? I mean all software I installed on the old server will be there on the new one, thanks
by the way, I need much less storage, can I return some and get more memory as an exchange?

If you clone a server then you end up with a clone of that server. If you need more disk space then I would clone it to a server with an upgraded plan.
