UML-related memory problem?

when I tail -f /var/log/syslog, I'm getting a lot of the following:

/proc/mm map failed

and this is UML-related by kernel version according to:

http://uml.jfdi.org/uml/Wiki.jsp?page=T … SKernelLog">http://uml.jfdi.org/uml/Wiki.jsp?page=Troubleshooting#section-Troubleshooting-NullQAnApplicationThatRequiresLargeAmountsOfMemoryHangsOrCrashesAndMapProcMmMapFailedErr12AppearsInTheUMLSKernelLog.

Does anyone know about this?

Hello,

Switch to 2.6-um and you shouldn't see those….

I don't see a 2.6-um kernel in the drop-down list. The latest I see is "2.6.21.1-linode32" dated May 6, 2007.

Ummm, oh yeah… Hmm.

I just meant for you to switch away from a 2.4 kernel to a 2.6 kernel… "Latest 2.6" would be a great choice!

Enjoy,

Rock on, Chris - it is done.
