Reasons why my domain name just "spins"

I had a website up and running but I decided to delete the Linode and do it all over again, mostly as a learning experience of doing it again. But now my website's url / domain just spins and never resolves to the home page….

What are some reason why the address would not resolve to the home page. I have NGINX configured properly. I have my name servers and the AAAA records configured as well. I'm fairly sure those are all configuring properly. What are some other things that could be happening?

edit: Oh! Also, this is somewhat important to mention. My ip address resolves correctly and shows my index.html / home page. It's only the domain name that is giving me issues.

Most likely when you deleted the server and created a new one, you were given a new IP address which hasn’t resolved yet with your domain name. Usually that takes between 12-48 hours to complete.

@LouWestin you nailed it, that was it.
