How do I reverse a payment transaction?

My bill is due on the 1st of the month for 11.80 and automatically debits from my card account on file. I paid 10 + 5.8 today. Will I be charged again? Can I reverse these 2 transactions?

Once you've paid off the accrued charges on the account, they're paid. You'll also have a $4 credit on your account to offset future usage.

$-11.80 + $10 + $5.80 = $4.00

Remember that Linode is a post-paid bill-by-usage model. You don't ever have a fixed bill. The quoted monthly cost of the Linode is what you'll be billed if your Linode exists for the entire month (730 hours, iirc). Anything less than that is billed according to the hourly usage price. You are NEVER paying for a Linode in advance unless you're making a manual payment.
