Private IP without Reboot

Can we add a Private IP to a Linode while it is running without rebooting?

I suppose so… Whether the OS will use it or not is a different story. In the good ol' days (before systemd and NetworkHelper), you could enable the IP address with a bunch of ifconfig tricks. I'm not sure if that's the case today.
