IP Sharing Error

I have created 2 servers running Galera. When I go to ip sharing and choose galera1 then choose galera2 this error shows up.

This Linode does not support IP Sharing at this time. Please contact support.

The cluster is setup on a shared cpu (Nanode 1 GB) for testing. Do I need to use dedicated cpu plan?

What data centre are you in?

Newer data centres are built on Linode's "Next Generation Network" (NGN) technology which doesn't support IP Sharing.

I believe you can contact support and they can provide you with a shared IP manually in these data centres - but I could be wrong.

I contacted support yesterday. I'm in Newark NJ data center. I was doing the "Host a Website with High Availability".

https://www.linode.com/docs/guides/host-a-website-with-high-availability/

Everything is working; just wanted to test the IP Sharing. Going to shut them down. I was using Centos 7 and going to try it with Centos Stream.

Support got back with me and they can help migrate things over to get it enabled.
