Warning from linode via email

I got this message. can my vps get banned? Your Linode, dhaayzre-20-06-21, has exceeded the notification threshold (10) for inbound traffic rate by averaging 14.02 Mb/s for the last 2 hours. This is just a notification, not a notice of abuse or anything. If you read the entire email it even states: "This is not meant as a warning or a representation that you re misusing your resources"

The only thing you should be concerned about is if you get start getting these type of notices quite often without much changing in regards to your linode and traffic. It could indicate a problem you might need to address. If you know what caused the increase in traffic, then there is nothing to worry about.

As @JeremyJ explained, these are usage alerts, not Terms of Service tickets or abuse reports. It could point to unexpected usage, which can help with identifying anything out of the norm for your Linode. You can adjust the notification thresholds, or disable them, to focus them to your expected usage:
