Hi @crutendo18
Have you checked the images section in your cloud manager?
Sometimes an image of deleted Linodes is saved there. If there is, you can use that image to deploy a new Linode containing the data as it was at the time it was deleted.
deploying image causes me to have a different IP and its a process to have it whitelisted how do i get my old IP address 178.79.154.208 ?
any response??
need help as services are not working because of IP change. Please help. how do i get old IP address?

I'm afraid it's unlikely if you deleted the original Linode that had the IP address. You can transfer IPs between an existing and a new Linode before you delete the existing one, but not if it's already been deleted.
The IP address is added back to the "pool" and may be re-allocated to another Linode user.
You may have some luck if you contact support and ask them if they can manually allocate it, if it's not in use already.
To elaborate upon @andysh's point, creating a Linode from an image…new or saved…is essentially the creation of a new Linode. New Linode = "new" IP address(es). I'm afraid that your problem belongs to you…for making your services so dependent on (possibly transient) IP addresses that you are given. There are ways to design/implement services to make them independent of this…
Suffice to say that, IMHO, you are SOL. Let this be a teaching moment…
