How do I get network helper to talk to my clone

I can't persuade 'Network helper' to recognise my custom image and update the network settings even though the image was created from a Linode stock Distribution of Debian 10.
If manually alter /etc/network/interfaces & resolve the new image works fine but the whole reason I am trying to create a custom image is to simplify and accelerate the process of creating new Linodes rather than having to run stack-scripts and making manual interventions. (Nvidia GPU driver installs can eat a lot of precious GPU time!)
I have done everything I can think of to fix this problem including modifying the Label and Disk UUID to match that of the original drive. I even changed the names of the disks within cloud manager eg 'sda=Debian 10 Disk'.
Have I missed something obvious or is this still part of the 'Custom Images' work in progress.

Thanks

I was able to locate your account and the Linode which you were booting up at the time. Based on the timing, I believe this was related to a bug with Network Helper that was identified and fixed earlier today. To test that this was related and the fix is working, I'd recommend rebooting the Linode at your earliest convenience.
