Switch from shared cpu to dedicated cpu plan

Is there a way to migrate from a shared cpu server to a dedicated cpu server because I use plex and I didn’t realize how much cpu it used when uploading content and streaming

Yup! It may not be clear at first, but changing any Linode plan would be considered resizing. We have instructions on how to resize your Linode plan on our website. You'll have a little downtime as you shut down the Linode to resize, but everything else will remain the same once you've completed the resize.

@watrick will this mess up my plex install last time I did an update and restarted my system I had to go back into the plex setup and configure it again? Also will all my files remain because I’ve uploaded about 30gb of data and I don’t want to have to do that all again?

I am trying to resize my linode and I get this message.
