A Linode running on our host's KVM hypervisor has nested virtualization disabled by default, and it is not advised to run your own hypervisor off of a Linode's disk due to the performance issues that you would likely run into doing so. In your case, it sounds like you may want to explore using a Bare Metal machine, which would give you direct access to the hardware that your Linode is running on, and the ability to control the hypervisor.
