Torrents

Is downloading torrents in my linode illegal?
i wanna make sure so i dont risk my linode from being taken down suddenly since i run a vpn server on it

Torrents themselves aren’t illegal but I guess you’re talking about downloading copyright content like films. If linode receive an abuse complaint you have to take some action to stop it. Too many complaints and you’re account gets closed.

So in short torrenting illegal content isn’t allowed.
