server unavailable for 24 hours after resizing.

Hello, can you please look into my ticket regarding the issue? The server was resized from a shared plan to a dedi yesterday.

The server did not reboot as usual after resizing and I can not manually reboot it either or using the rescue mode to reboot.

It has been down for 24 hours.

This has happened to me a few times. Something on the linode end didn’t finish. They usually get it fixed fairly easily, but support response seems slow recently for some reason. If it’s urgent call them and they do it on the spot.

Otherwise try and open the glish console and see what’s wrong. You need to time this just right - after it’s attached but before the linode goes back down.

Also check your configuration on the linode panel and make sure it’s pointing to the disks that are shown in the storage section.
