What is the best way to identify what is causing CPU spike to 100%

This is Nanode 1 GB running on Debian 9. Plesk control panel.

What is the command line or quickest way to see what is causing 100% cpu spike. Thanks!

I like htop (may need install), but top should be available in most distributions.
