Do we use vCenter by VMware?

Apparently there is a highly rated security issue that is being exploited in the wild. It's with the vCenter part of VMware.

Are we using VMware and are we aware of this issue?

No, Linode uses the KVM hypervisor that's part of the Linux kernel. QEMU is used to set up the VM with KVM (and does more work to emulate hardware in the full-virtualization mode).
