Is it possible to upgrade calico?

My LKE cluster is running calico v3.9.2, which is quite old and lacking some newer features and bug fixes which would make my life easier.

Can I upgrade calico without breaking anything? Will future updates to LKE overwrite my calico version?

Upgrading Calico or any other LKE component will likely cause incompatibility errors or the changes will simply be overwritten by the LKE deployment.

Additionally, our LKE Team is aware of the age of Calico v3.9 and we do have plans to upgrade Calico for LKE in the near future.
