Expected durability and availability of Object Storage?

Google, Microsoft, and Amazon claim 11-9s durability and 99.99% availability for their single zone object storage. I’ve been unable to find similar information for Linode Object Storage (other than the regular 99.9% SLA). Could you share the expected durability and availability for this service? Thanks!

Hi @colin - Object Storage is mentioned in our SLA as covered by it, so we guarantee 99.99% uptime. Data stored in an Object Storage Bucket is replicated to different back-end nodes in a way that allows for the other nodes to cover for the failure of any node at any time.

Oops, sorry @hesperidean3, I missed your response. Thank you.

I hope Linode can provide more specific, quantitative durability information in the future. Currently I am unable to recommend Linode Object Storage to potential customers since they demand a direct comparison to market competitors who all offer their usual 10-9s or 11-9s or 12-9s durability numbers, and I can’t give them that.
