SG location not available?

hi..im trying to clone and create new linode in sg location but i got error say that host unable to satisfffied my request… is sg location sold out?

i try to open support ticket but after 6 hours i dont get any reply… but the linode staff able to reply on community forum..

We’re currently upgrading our hosts in Singapore, and this scheduled maintenance is set to conclude on August 8, 2020. During that time we will not be placing servers on hosts that are undergoing maintenance, and therefore availability has been extremely limited; this is why you’ve been unable to deploy a new Linode in Singapore.

Our recommendation would be to do either of the following:

  1. Create a server in a different datacenter, and then Clone that Linode to the Singapore DC after August 8.
  2. Create a server in a different datacenter, and then migrate that Linode to Singapore after August 8.

With both of these options, there are two caveats to keep in mind:

  • Whether you’re cloning or migrating your server, there will be some required downtime to complete the process - this is estimated to be around 30-60 MB/minute
  • When you clone a new Linode, or migrate a Linode to another DC, it will receive a new IP address (we aren’t able to transfer IP addresses across DCs); therefore, if applicable, configurations will need to be updated to reflect your new IP address
