When running Snapd I'm getting the following error: "Sorry, home directories outside of /home are not currently supported"

Linode Staff

The message directs you to this link, which states:

Snapd does currently not support running snaps if the home directory of the user is outside of /home. A workaround is to bind mount the home directory outside /home into /home

However, Snapd doesn't provide further instruction. They send you along to this forum, but it doesn't look like others have been able to find a solution.

Any ideas?
