Domain not up and running

I had updated DNS of my domain in the Registrar Panel and added the same in my WHM in Linode but still the site is not working.

The NS are reflecting perfectly in the whois but we cannot the see the content updated. Always an error reflects as :

This site can’t be reached
mydomain.in took too long to respond. (This is not an actual domain)

Pls help !

Thanks

Hey there -

There are a few things that could cause this error, but one of the most common I see is an error in the DNS configuration. I recommend checking to make sure everything is set up properly by following our checklist:

DNS Set-Up Checklist

There are a few additional things you want to look for other than the name servers - for example, you'll want to make sure that the IP you have configured the DNS for matches that which has been assigned to the Linode where you're hosting the site (it's a common mistake, especially when a user has more than one Linode on their account).

We have a post that gives you a breakdown on making sure you've got your DNS configured correctly:

How do I configure DNS for my Linode?

Question on Step 1: Register (purchase) a domain name if you haven’t already.

When I created my Linode and created my Domain name, this is Step 1 in the DNS Set-Up Checklilst? Correct? It seems obvious, but I have followed the guides provided, ensured UFW is enabled and have ensured ssh, port 53 are open. Everything seems like it is running correctly by using sudo systemctl, DIG @ns1.linode has my IP address however DIG 8.8.8.8 is not recognizing my IP address. As a result, I am unable to set up RDNS and I always get the response "We are unable to perform lookup at this time". I have rebooted the Linode today.
