How do I create a record for my base domain?

I'm trying to re-create an A record from my domain registrar on Linode, and I'm having trouble. When I enter @ for the hostname, as it appears in my current records, I'm not able to save the record. How do I create this record?

To create those records, you can just leave the 'hostname' field blank. The resulting record will be the same as when you enter '@' into some other providers. Once the record has had time to propagate (typically within a few minutes), you should be able to begin using it.
