How should linode backup restore take?

Its been 3 hours, 4 minutes and restore is hung at 49%.

Size of backup is 101640MB

Backups can take a varying amount of time to complete, based on the total size of the backup (around 100GB in this case) and the number of files being restored. A large number of small files will take longer to restore than an equivalent single file of the same size, due the the overhead of writing the metadata for each individual file.

To reduce the time that backups take to restore in the future, I'd recommend reducing the total number of files on your Linode. There's a post here with suggestions on how to locate the directories with the most files on your Linode, near the bottom:
