Outbound Ports
Hi Linoders,
I looking to unblock port 465 so that my linode can make an outbound connection to an email server that is hosted elsewhere.
I'm new to linode and server admin in general. I am running WordOPS, I can unblock them there using
sudo ufw allow 465 comment 'Mail'
but I also have to do it on linode as well it seems.

Hi there @tomglod! Welcome to Linode. :)
It sounds like you might be experiencing issues sending mail because of the SMTP restrictions we have in place for new accounts. You'll need to open a Support Ticket to request removal.
