Hi which instance of linode should i run to support promiscuous mode ?

The size of your Linode shouldn't have an impact on whether or not you're able to use promiscuous mode since what it does is enable all traffic

Keep in mind that your Linode only has access to one network device so you might not be able to get macvlan to work for your Linode, but it may be possible to set it up internally for the Linode. Here's a Docker guide that shows you what to do:
