Setting up SSL after One-Click Apps install of WordPress?

I'm considering returning to having my blog on self-hosted WordPress, but trying to avoid as much hassle as possible, so I just did the One-Click install process Linode has — but of course that doesn't include SSL setup, and I'm certainly not going to login to my WordPress install until that's up and running.

So, is there a handy guide anywhere to getting SSL up and running on a One-Click WordPress site here at Linode? It doesn't have to also be a one-click web thing; I know my way around via shell.

Thanks.

See my answer here:

Assumptions:

  • you have the certificate files necessary;
  • you are using Debian/Ubuntu; and
  • you are using apache2.
