Intermittent Lag?

I thought I'd post about this and see what everyone elses take on it was before I started mindlessly digging around for a possible cause, and possibly never finding it on my end.

I've noticed the past few days now, my Linode's connection seems to stall for a few seconds, all throughout the day. SSH, IRC, HTTP, etc, everything is affected. But then after those few seconds are up, it acts like everything's dandy. It seems to happen every few minutes, and when working at a terminal window, I'm sure you can see how this might start to get annoying.

Like I said, I wouldn't know where to begin checking for problems. I checked my tokens once right after it happened, but they were fine. I'm on host44, in case anyone else is there too and might also be experiencing such a problem. If not, I'd appreciate any ideas on what it could be, or how to go about tracking it down. Thanks in advance!

Had this problem as well. Thought it was my internet connection or my firewall at home. Maybe not. This was to host 35.
