Linode Block Service, FreeBSD volume

I'm running FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE on one of my linodes. I've just added a block service volume and attached it to the appropriate linode. Per the docs I looked for /dev/disk/ whatever and didn't see it, so I rebooted the Linode, still nothing. Is anyone using block service with FreeBSD? If so, what is the volume identifier? Once I find that I can put a filesystem on it, and mount it and add it to /etc/fstab. Concerning filesystems anyone using zfs? If so what are your impressions?
