New nanode/linode and creating of hostname at start

Good day guys at linode
I'm the server guy at my company, and i'm wondering.
Is it possible to create a nanode/linode instance with a custom hostname set at creation.

The reason i'm asking, when we spin up a server and run our scripts it would be less of a hassle not including the step of setting the hostname and restarting the server and just run the script and not thinking about it againg.

Or do you have a reason for not implementing it, just wondering.
Have a nice day.

You can set the hostname in a StackScript, which runs during first boot. You can make other customizations here as well, such as running your own deployment scripts.
