Restore a Deleted account

My Linode was deleted because I missed a notification of an outstanding balance. Now my email and web page are down. I already updated my billing info and paid the balance. How do I restore the account ASAP?

Hello,

This message is being sent to update you on the current status on your Linode account (XXXXXXX). At this time your Linode account has had a past due balance of $XX.00 since February 1, 2020 and we've been unable to bill the credit card on file. At this time we've removed all Linode services from your account and the data will be deleted shortly. If you would like to regain access to the data on your Linodes, please update your billing information within the Linode Manager, submit a payment, and then open a support ticket.

You can update your credit card information by visiting the following URL: https://cloud.linode.com/account/billing and clicking on the "Update Credit Card" tab.

Once you have verified that your credit card information is up to date, you may then submit your payment by clicking the "Make a Payment" tab.

Please note, that we only retain data from deleted Linodes for a short period of time. If you do need to retrieve the data from your account the sooner you contact us the more likely the data can still be recovered.

Sincerely,
The Linode Team

@interjulian We might be able to help you reclaim the IP address, but the first step you should take is to look for the saved images in your account. I'd recommend deploying that image to a new Linode is the same data center of the deleted Linode. This Community post would help you with those steps:

How do I restore a deleted Linode?

Once the new Linode from the saved image is up, Support can look into reclaiming the IP address for you through a Support ticket.
