Hosted DNS - Add PTR

I have a DNS registered on Linode not attached to a Linode Server i.e. the server is hosted elsewhere. I want to add a PTR (RDNS) record to this DNS but cannot find a way to do this in the DNS Manager.

How can I add the PTR to this DNS service?

Can only do that if the IP is from Linode.

@HeatherM You will need to setup the PTR record using your hosting provider's instructions. This record is typically set up with the host of the server.

The below guide will give you instructions for how to set this up if you are using a Linode server.
