issues installing Sophos antivirus?
i try installing Sophos,
./sophos-av/install.sh
but it immediately returns this:
sophos-av/install.sh: 294: sophos-av/install.sh: /tmp/sophos_distribution_7x3kipm/sophos-av/sav-linux/x86/64/engine/_/python: not found
i have verified python is installed and the latest:
python is already the newest version (2.7.13-2).
i am running Debian 9:
Debian GNU/Linux 9.11 (stretch)
i'm using this kernel:
5.1.17-x86_64-linode128
i have verified multi-arch is installed:
ia32-libs-multiarch is already the newest version (20090808ubuntu36).
i have enabled i386 architecture:
dpkg --add-architecture i386
i'm not sure what else to do to get Sophos to install, any ideas?

This looks like it may be a path or permissions related issue. We recommend you locate the file it is looking for, either at the path it provides or where you know it is available, and check the permissions. You may need to run the installation again as root or copy the target file into the path being used.
