why can't I reset the password?
My VPS got hacked and changed password but i can't reset password on linode manager, Please help me..

System compromises are incredibly difficult to deal with, and I'm sorry your server was hit by one. If you've deployed from one of our images, you can reset your root password by following the instructions on this guide:

However, it's very difficult to clean up a system after a compromise, so in most cases, the best approach is to redeploy your Linode. We've got a guide on system recovery that has more discussion:
