I guess you can restore form the manager.linode.com for any day but how would you do that from console.linode.com ?

The backup history you are seeing in the Classic Linode Manager is showing successful jobs - not available backups to restore from. So everyday after your daily backup is complete it will reflect the successful completion of the job.

The Linode Backup Service allows you to restore from four different backups:

  • Daily Backup
  • Weekly Backup
  • Bi-Weekly Backup
  • Your Manual Snapshot

This remains the case on both the Classic Linode Manager and Cloud Manager. The backup history section itself was a little confusing and has been removed from the Cloud Manager.
