I can offer you general billing guidance here, but please reach out to support@linode.com for details on specific charges relating to your account.
Let me shed some light into our billing practices. An invoice is generated on the 1st of every month and will include services used during the previous month. As an example, an invoice generated on September 1st will include services used from August 1st - August 31st.
If you cancelled your account before the month is over, you'll receive an invoice at the time of cancellation for any unpaid services. In most cases, this means you'll be charged for anything you used in the current month. Keep in mind that our services are billed at an hourly rate up to a monthly cap.
