Linode Bandwidth traffic

I wonder the Bandwidth traffic how it calculate?
is it Inbound + Outbound ?
if not how does it calculate?

If i choose 1TB traffic server , Inbound free and Outbound 1TB free?

As I know inbound is free and only outbound counts. Plus if you have multiple linodes you get your limit summed up for all of them.

then does it means if i am using 1TB server. And I hav created 3TB server, then it is 4TB that i can use ??
