Is it possible / advisable to run OpenVPN and a LAMP stack on the same machine? My goal is to secure a web app behind a VPN security layer to prevent public access to the app.

Whats the best way to do this - One machine or two?

If two is best, how do a I create a network for the two machines?

Can Linode configure this for me and if so at what cost?

While I haven't done this personally, in doing some research it looks like it is possible to install it on one server:
