Disk imagization is failing

I'm trying to imagize a disk on an older Linode before retiring it, but the imagization keeps failing. I cannot find any information about the cause of the failure.

I opened a support ticket on Wednesday but have not yet gotten any response. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

It may be that the information your Linode's disk is taking up more space than the default image size limit of 2GB. To double check you can run:

df -h
