just how bad is the new interface?
I hate it but the question is how long will I still be able to use the old one. I think I if am forced into making the change I will ditch linode.

@steerforth - We don't have a hard date for deprecating the Classic (old) Manager yet. Part of the reason for this is because we want to make sure the new Cloud Manager is meeting as many expectations of our users as possible as we continue to fine tune and expand on it's functionality.
With that said, we would love to hear your thoughts regarding the new interface: what you don't like about it, what you wish could be different, etc.
You can send this to feedback@linode.com.
We take this feedback very seriously and we are constantly making changes to our new UI in response to it.
If you're willing to share with us, we'd love to hear from you.
I personally like the classic manager better than the new one. With that said, I don't see why a manager couldn't be written that would behave as the classic manager does, but use the new API, not so much java script, etc. Whether Linode or someone else creates such a manager would be up to them, I suppose, but it could be done.
I need to resize a volume today (not upgrade my service, as the new resize option shows) because I am running out of space (I have 80 GB, only using 12GB on my partition), and the option just isn't easy to find, and actually I don't think it's available through the new UI?
I think I may have found it under advanced configurations. The new UI does not seem like a step forward or even sideways, but back. It was easier to use when everything fit on one page, and was just a few clicks away.
It sounds like you've found the right place to resize your Linode's disk, but just in case we have a full guide on disk resizing here.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I've passed them along to the team. feedback@linode.com goes directly to the right people, and they review all feedback sent in, so if you have any suggestions, something doesn't seem quite right, or just want to elaborate on feedback you've already given feel free to send in an email.
